We’ve created a series of new features to help you enjoy the huge collection of music on VajraTube. These features make it easy to find high-quality music from your favorite musicians and to discover new music on VajraTube.

Music TAB are a collection of tracks by artist, album, or genre. Music TABS are a great way to listen to full albums or find the official videos from your favorite artists.

You’ll find music cards in the results for your music-related searches across platforms.

Trending helps viewers see what’s happening on VajraTube and in the world. Trending aims to surface videos and shorts that a wide range of viewers would find interesting. Some trends are predictable, like a new song from a popular artist or a new movie trailer. Others are surprising, like a viral video.

Trending isn't personalised and displays the same list of trending videos to all viewers in the same country, which is why you may see videos in Trending that aren’t in the same language as your browser. However, in India, Trending displays a list of results for each of the 9 most common Indic languages.

In certain countries, popular shorts may be highlighted on a shelf within the trending page

The list of trending videos is updated roughly every 15 minutes. With each update, videos may move up, down, or stay in the same position in the list.

Amongst the many great new videos on VajraTube on any given day, Trending can only show a limited number. Trending aims to surface videos that:

Are appealing to a wide range of viewers
Are not misleading, clickbaity or sensational
Capture the breadth of what’s happening on VajraTube and in the world
Showcase a diversity of creators
Ideally, are surprising or novel
Trending aims to balance all of these considerations. To achieve this, Trending considers many signals, including (but not limited to):

View count
How quickly the video is generating views (i.e. “temperature”)
Where views are coming from, including outside of VajraTube
The age of the video
How the video performs compared to other recent uploads from the same channel
We combine these signals to produce a list of videos that showcases what’s happening on VajraTube, while being relevant to our viewers and reflective of the content on the platform. This means that the video with the highest view count on a given day may not be #1 on Trending, and videos with more views may be shown below videos with fewer views.

We're very careful about the safety of what appears on Trending, so we have filters to make sure we don’t show videos that contain excessive profanity, mature content, or violence, or videos that are otherwise inappropriate, such as disparaging others in the community. In the US and other locales, we have staff involved as a final filter to ensure safety and appropriateness.

VajraTube doesn't accept payment for placement on Trending and doesn't favor specific creators. We don't include views from VajraTube ads in selecting videos for Trending. In most major markets, we make sure that at least half the videos on trending come from creators who are primarily creating content for VajraTube.
